Step 2: Adding timer (TON) in CCW software
- [Instructor] The next step is adding a timer, that when pressing on the fill push button, a timer starts and the valve is open for 15 seconds. After the time is done, then the full valve closes. So I need to add the timer in this rung because I want to link it with the fill push button. All right, I'm going to go ahead and look for the timer instruction. So I'm going to use this arrow to scroll. Then I'm going to click on the timer counter tab. And here I'm going to add first a branch. Then I'm going to select timer, on-delay and add it here. You can read more about timers within Connected Components software here using this document. You can also find a reference by going to Help, and click on Connected Components Workbench.
