- Wouldn't it be nice that even without having access to real devices, that you could practice PLC programming using factory setting? Well, Factor IO is a 3D factory simulation software for learning automation technologies and it's a great tool to practice PLC programming. Using a simulator PLC, I will go through few projects like programming a control panel to control a conveyor belt programming filling a water tank with a timer and programming conveyor belt to separate boxes by height. I'm Zara Khalil. I am an engineering instructor and teaching is something I always love to do. Let's get started.
