- [Instructor] After completing the installation, I have opened the software and I'm going to start a new project. You see here, it's showing that I already have some previous or recent projects, but for you, it might look empty the first time you start the software, looking like this. I'll go ahead and click on New, then I'll give a name for the project, I'll call it demo1, click on Create. Here, we need to add a device to our project. For our case, we are going to select the type of the PLC controller we are going to work with. The controllers here are part of Micro800 family of controllers. For this course, I'll be selecting the PLC simulator under Micro850. So I'll go ahead to Micro850, then to here, and I'll select the simulator and then I click Select, and then add it to the project.
