- [Instructor] By default, when I receive a new email, there's an alert that appears in the upper right hand corner of my browser. I'm actually going to send this email to myself so that you can see that happen if you haven't seen it before, right here. And I can click that link to immediately view that message here in Outlook on the web. If I don't want to open the message right away, I can wait a couple seconds and the alert will disappear or there was an X in the alert and I could have closed it. There are three primary things you might wish to do after you view this message and they're right here on our ribbon. I could choose to reply, reply all, or forward. And whether you'll reply or not depends on the intentions that are signaled to you by the sender. If you are listed in To in the message, the message is sent to you, then a reply is assumed. So if I want someone to reply to me when I send them an email, I don't put them on Cc or Bcc, I send it to them. Now there are people who…
