Create and use an email signature
- [Instructor] When I create a new email, I automatically have a signature that appears here at the bottom, and I want to show you how you might set that up for yourself. Click the Settings gear, and we want to go to Email Signature. And as always, I'll just start by typing S-I-G for signature, and there it is, and it is on the Compose and Reply page, which is the second page listed here. This is where you create and edit email signatures. And I want to simply scroll down and show you that you can set two different signatures, one for new messages and one for replies and forwards. And the strategy here is, if I'm sending somebody a new message, it's like a cold call. It's the first time I'm sending a message to them potentially, or it might be the first time they've heard from me in a while. So this is where I'll provide lots of information: who I am, what my title is, and how you can reach me. And in my case, I've actually added an image there. If I am forwarding an email or replying…
