- [Instructor] When researching my courses and books, I create a lot of research material from various sources. Those sources range from online and digital to print. The issue for me is not accessing it, but making sense of it. This usually involves a lot of reading bookmarks, use of a yellow highlighter, and copying and pasting what I consider to be important in a document. NotebookLM makes this tedious process even more efficient by allowing you to add your research material into a single notebook, which is what we're going to do here. And this is better than using a folder or other source. It's like having your own personal AI assistant, which works with source material that you control, depending upon what you want to learn or understand more profoundly. The most critical word in that last sentence is you. The process of creating a notebook starts with adding your source material to NotebookLM.
