From the course: NotebookLM for Research

Next steps

- [Instructor] Here we are at the end of our comprehensive deep dive into NotebookLM. As you have discovered, there is a lot more to NotebookLM than much of the hype that has grown up around the project. What you have also discovered is how NotebookLM and NotebookLM Plus are valuable AI agents, and where NotebookLM or Plus could fit into your workflow on a daily basis. As we move into a new way of doing things with AI, you may want to learn more about the topic of generative AI, which is the basis of NotebookLM. One of my fellow authors, Allie Miller, has a great course on the topic, how to use generative AI, building an AI mindset. NotebookLM is a generative AI model, and if you want to further understand what generative AI is all about, then Pinar Demirdag's course, what is generative AI, is a comprehensive overview of this subject. Finally, you may be interested in moving out of NotebookLM, and looking at how AI's becoming both a research and writing tool, Dave Birss's course, how to research and write using generative AI tools, is a tremendous starting point. Before I leave, NotebookLM is a work in progress, and Google will be constantly improving the product based on user feedback. The primary source for this feedback is the NotebookLM Discord server, which has become a vibrant community of NotebookLM users, and where Google actually interacts with the users of NotebookLM. I hope to see you there.
