If you use the Teams mobile app, there are ways to conserve data and battery use. Tap the button in the top left to open the menu, then go to settings, then to the data and storage category. Select image upload quality. If you upload pictures to conversation threads, you can minimize data use by changing the image upload quality. If you use cellular data, you may choose Always send low-resolution. If you have an unlimited data plan or always use your mobile device on Wi-Fi, you can choose to always send pictures full-size. Tap the back button in the top left. To optimize usage during video calls, go to reduce data usage. This lets you enable a low-bandwidth mode for video calls. Next, when you are in a video call or a meeting, you can make some adjustments there. You can disable your camera to save both battery and data. Other people in the meeting will not be able to see you, but they will still hear you. But you can also conserve battery and data by keeping your microphone muted…
