- [Instructor] Environments in Power Platform are where we store, manage, and share our organization business data, our apps, our flows. They're contained within environments. Environments can have a single Microsoft Dataverse database, and that Dataverse database is required for some of our platform capabilities to be allowed. One or more of these environments can be configured in a single tenant. When it comes to types of environments, we have a few with very specific uses, so we'll start with the default environment. This is what we often call a personal productivity environment. This is where all users have access to build things here. As an admin, don't worry. Your data loss prevention policies will still apply here, so your data is safe, but this is where all users in your organization can build things.
