Power Automate cloud flows: Dynamic content and expressions
- [Instructor] Imagine you've built a flow that monitors your inbox for a new email. It then takes information from that email such as the sender title, message, body, and date and adds it into an Excel spreadsheet. This is where dynamic content and expressions come in. Most steps in a cloud flow will have an output of information or data. This data can be reused in following steps in your flow and is known as dynamic content. Let's look at the email example. You can see the dynamic content pane appear here in the flow. It lists the output from each step and we can insert this dynamic content within our actions as so. For the date, we might get the receive date. The subject will link that up to the subject of the email and our from field. We'll save this and in a moment we'll give it a test.
