Since Microsoft Fabric is in preview, Microsoft's documentation is generally the most current. The best place to find the information is on the learn.microsoft.com site. All of these articles start with the words what is, and the name of the experience, like real-time analytics, data factory, data activator, data science, data warehousing, and data engineering. If you're currently using Power BI and have been using the Fabric trial and want to incorporate some of the new features, including source control, I highly recommend that you actually read the licensing information to find out how you can utilize many of the new features in Fabric after the preview is over because they're not going to be available in Power BI Pro licensing.
