Using the histogram to adjust images

- Earlier I showed you how the histogram can change to allow us to affect targeted zones. This is a great way to really refine the adjustment. Remember, as you mouse over, it's going to name the zones for you. So for example, maybe I want to play with the highlights here, recovering or bringing 'em out. In this case, I'm going to open 'em up just a little bit more to have a few dreamy areas where they get kind of creamy here in the water. And then I'll pull down the overall white point a bit more. Lifting those highlights is working nicely to really get some blooming in there. As I drag through, that feels pretty good. What I like here is that I can click and then just keep looking at the screen. It becomes very simple to just drag left or right and see those transformations. This is quite nice to really balance things out. I find that I don't have to move my eyes all around the screen. Instead, I could just click…
