- While that post crop vignette is quite useful, it always pulls in the same amount from the edges. So on this photograph, you see it just kind of darkens the edges, but that's not nearly as useful. Our object isn't exactly in the center. And if I crop this here a little bit more, I'm going to tweak this. I'm going to place these objects even more in the foreground. There we go. Now in this case, I want to pull the eye in here and minimize this big distracting open area. So to do this, we can instead turn to using masks. I'll come over and choose the Masking tab. First up, let's make a gentle radial gradient. And we'll click and draw across our object here. Notice how easy it is to really frame that up. I can rotate this to really match the shape of the object as well as expand this and really get that looking quite good. Now let's really feather that for a gentle transition and make this even bigger. There we go. So…
