Maps help us understand what a place looks like before we go there, and help us find our way. In user experience, you create special maps to arrange information about an element of the user experience in a way that helps to communicate it to its intended audience, whether that's just the UX team, the development team, the broader organization, or even people outside the organization. In this course, Chris Nodder shows you the common types of maps used to depict people's experiences interacting with a company or its products. He helps you understand what each map type produces, and how it can be used to aid in furthering the team's understanding and subsequent decision-making. Chris also explains how to participate in mapping sessions, dig deeper into what the map is telling you, and use the output in your work.

    Este curso me resultó increíblemente útil para comprender cómo aplicar diferentes tipos de mapas en proyectos de experiencia de usuario. Chris Nodder, el instructor, tiene un estilo dinámico y logra que los conceptos sean fáciles de entender gracias a sus explicaciones claras y ejemplos prácticos. Lo que más me gustó fue la parte sobre cómo elegir el tipo de mapa adecuado. Se explica claramente la diferencia entre los mapas para explorar ideas y los mapas para compartir información, lo que me ayudó a identificar cuándo y cómo usar cada uno según la etapa del proyecto. Los ejemplos que ofreció fueron clave para visualizar cómo se pueden aplicar en casos reales. Si tuviera que proponer una mejora, sería agregar más oportunidades de práctica en la creación de mapas. Aunque hay muchos ejemplos, creo que algunos ejercicios guiados ayudarían a afianzar aún más los conceptos.
