- [Narrator] Let's talk about keyboard commands, also known as keyboard shortcuts. These are actions that you can trigger by holding and pressing a combination of keys on the keyboard. I recommend you start with this webpage, where you can find a list of very common keyboard commands. Now, if you don't already know, most of these require you to hold down a key on your keyboard, then tap another key. So for example, the copy command, this requires you to hold the Command key on your keyboard and tap the letter C. So it's important to look at your keyboard and identify the modifier keys. These are keys like Control, Option, Shift, or the Command key, which you will need to hold down to trigger these keyboard commands. These modifier keys are labeled on your keyboard, but some keyboards label them with these symbols instead. So it's a good idea to identify which symbol refers to each key.
