- [Instructor] Handoff is a feature that lets you start a task on one device and pick up right where you left off on another device. Starting here on my iPhone, I'll go to my web browser and navigate to a webpage. So I can start reading this page on my phone, but then let's say I want to switch over to my computer and continue reading this page there. Here on my computer, this icon popped up on the right side of the dock. It has the Safari icon, but also has this little phone graphic on it. So this tells me that I have Safari open on my iPhone, and if you use an iPad, you'll see the same thing in the dock there. If I click on this, it will load the same page that I was looking at on my iPhone. And this works in both directions. I'm going to quit Safari, and I'll go over to the Mail application and I'll just reply to one of these messages, start typing in my response, but then I decide that I want to finish writing this…
