- [Lecturer] Let's start this video with a question. Do you know how I can get to the documents folder on my storage drive? Well, you might remember that I can open Finder, then select the Macintosh HD in the sidebar on the left. Inside of that, open the folder called Users. Inside of that, open the folder with my name on it. That's the home folder. And then I will find my documents folder, and I can double click on that to see my documents. Pretty easy, right? Well, maybe, maybe not. I do think it's very important to know the path to the folders that you use, but let's be realistic. On a day-to-day basis, you need something faster than that, and that's what shortcuts are for. Look at the sidebar in the left side of the Finder window. You should see this Favorites category. Now you can click the arrow next to Favorites to show or hide the contents. And also, it is possible to drag this up or down to…
