Delete files and folders
- [Instructor] At some point, you will probably want to delete some files or folders that you don't want anymore. For example, if I go to Finder, to my Documents folder, I've copied everything I need out of this Photos folder, I'm ready to delete it. One easy option is to drag it to the trashcan icon in the dock. So, you can place your mouse cursor over a file or folder, hold the mouse button down, drag to the trash can and let go. So, that's been moved to the trash. Let's look at some other options. I'll go over to my Client Projects folder and this Globe Bank project was canceled. I don't need this folder anymore. I could right-click on a file or folder and choose Move to Trash, or you could select a file or folder and go to the File menu and choose Move to Trash there, or if you look here, there is a keyboard shortcut available for this.
