I'm here with Don for more Lpic and more Samba. And this episode is all about integrating Samba with Microsoft Active Directory, right? - That is correct, yeah. In this episode we're going to continue our slight Microsoft crossover and talk about how we can integrate with Microsoft environments. We'll see how we can get Samba connected to an active directory so that it can use those for file share authentication and access. And we'll go over a few little extra things that we might need to configure, like user maps and special case scenarios.
