- [Instructor] If you want to do more than just view Visio diagrams or add comments, what version of Visio do you need? To answer this question, we need to explore the components of the Visio-verse. In the graphic that we'll build on the screen during the video, the range of Visio features will increase from left to right. You'll be able to compare that to the number of templates and shapes that are available for creating diagrams, which will increase from bottom to top. I'll also distinguish between features that are available in a web browser and those that require a desktop app. Let's focus first on the web. Visio for Microsoft 365 is a free Visio version that's included with most M365 licenses. It includes several dozen templates and starter diagrams and offers great features for creating and editing diagrams.
