- [Instructor] You can create all kinds of great charts and graphs in Microsoft Excel. When you use the Data Visualizer add in for Excel, you can create Visio diagrams, and you don't even need a Visio license, all you need is a Microsoft 365 Work or School license. To use Data Visualizer, launch Excel, and go to of the new page, in the search box type, Visio, and among the templates that are returned, you'll find three for Data Visualizer, one to create flow charts, one for cross-functional flow charts, and one for organization charts. Let's create a Swim Lane diagram first, by clicking cross-functional flow chart, and then create. Data Visualizer presents you with five format choices. Let's choose horizontal by clicking create.
