- Back in the old days of the web, HTML was the only language available and you had to code static sites page by page. But now with JavaScript, the web is extremely programmable and because of its popularity, JavaScript can be used to program much more than just the web. This course will walk you through the basics of JavaScript syntax, with the goal of becoming conversant in the language. You'll begin to understand most of the major pieces of JavaScript, such that you'll be able to read and write enough code to get started on your own projects.
