Using the Eraser tool
- [Instructor] When you draw in SketchUp there are times when you'll need to get rid of stuff. And so for that we have what's called the Eraser Tool. So let's go ahead and draw something that we can erase. So I'm going to, let's just take our Rectangle Tool and I'm just going to go ahead and draw a couple of overlapping rectangles. I'm going to draw a rectangle here. Let's draw a rectangle here, and then maybe one along this edge in here. Now if we want to delete some of these edges, we could do that. Probably the most intuitive way to do it is just to highlight it using our Select Tool. So I could highlight that blue line there and if I wanted to, I could hit Delete. But when you do that it can cause problems that may affect you down the road. So typically we want to use the Eraser Tool to delete lines. So let's go ahead and use that.
