- [Instructor] You can also add text and labels to your drawings using the SketchUp text tool. Now, this is completely different than the 3D text tool that we showed you before and this is really just a way to convey information about the scene. It's not geometry, it's just text that works in the scene. So we can find it here under all the measurement tools here. It's one that has a little text box on it and all we have to do is just left click and drag and it will create text. Now, it's going to default to the name of the object in the scene, but if we want, we can type whatever we want. So I'm using backspace to back over that. So I'm going to type in say concrete block. So we're going to list out the materials in the scene and just hit enter. And then when I deselect it, you'll see I get that concrete block. If I want to do another one here, let's go ahead and just do that wall here. But instead of walls, I'm going…
