Using the exercise files

- [Instructor] The exercise files are divided by chapters as you can see here, similar to the order of the chapters in this course. Now, for this course, I have exercise files for chapter two and chapter four. In chapter two, I have files for connected components workbench software. And for chapter four, I have files for Connected Components Workbench Software, Factory IO, and Ignition Designer Software. Now I'm going to show you how to open the files in their software. For Connected Components Workbench Software, go to File and then choose Open and then go to the exercise files folder. And let's say, for example, I want to open the file in chapter two. So click on that. Then click on Connected Components Workbench Software and this is the file name. And then choose this file and click Open. Now to open the file for Factory IO software. Go to the exercise files and then choose the Factory IO folder. And then copy this file. And then go to the Factory IO software. And it's usually in the documents. Then go to my scenes, and then here, paste that file, then in the Factory IO software, click on scenes, choose My Scenes, and then you'll see the file here. Select it and it'll open in the Factory IO software. And finally, for the Ignition Designer software, go to Ignition Designer and then choose import project. Then from the exercise files folder, choose chapter four, then Ignition Designer Software, select the project and click Open. Here, you would need to give it a name so I'll leave the default name as it is and click import project. Now for Ignition Software file. You'll probably won't need this until the end of chapter four, as I will go through the steps of how to create a project in Ignition Designer. I have also explained how to export and import Ignition Designer project file in chapter four.
