Step 1: Adding data to OPC server (Cogent DataHub)

- [Instructor] This step is to add the data coming from the PLC into an OPC. The Connected Components Workbench software has a Rockwell OPC DA server that we can access using any compatible OPC clients. For the OPC client, I'm using Cogent DataHub to receive and display the data. The data in Connected Components Workbench software are to show the application data in Factory I/O scene, mimicking a factory setting. The OPC server for our simulator PLC is Rockwell IXLCIP Gateway OPC DA. Now I have the Connected Components Workbench software open and I have downloaded the Ladder Logic program into the simulator PLC, And I have also connected the Factory I/O software scene into this simulator PLC. Now I need to go to Cogent DataHub. So double-click on the icon, click Okay, then for this icon here on your right-hand side, right-click and choose Cogent DataHub. Select OPC DA.
