Ignition software tour: Ignition Gateway
- [Instructor] The Gateway webpage is where information is stored, where all of the general configuration happens. For example, setting up your device connections, database connections, OPC configuration setup, and many more. The Ignition Gateway is a web server. You can access Ignition Gateway webpage using any browser. Ignition supports most web browsers like Microsoft Edge, Chrome, Firefox, et cetera. I'm currently using Microsoft Edge. Now since we have the software downloaded on our local computer, then we can access the Gateway by typing local host call in the port number 8088. Now, if the Gateway is installed on a different computer or server, then we will need to know the IP address of that computer.
