End-user personalization options
- [Instructor] There are several ways for users to personalize the application. One way is to set your personal options. Now, these settings are for the logged in user only and can be changed at any time. There are several tabs available to the user to configure in the personal settings window. Some examples of those options are the ability to choose the default area and page that the system should load when you open the application or when you click the home button. The number of records that should be shown in any view. And the ability to set your time zone. Now, this is important so that data stored in date/time fields will be shown in your local time. Besides personal options, users with the correct security can also create views, create charts and even create dashboards and this will allow them to filter, sort and view the data that is most relevant to them.
