The power of JavaFX GUI development
- [Peggy] JavaFX is used to create graphical user interfaces and is the next step in the evolution of Java. It is designed to provide a lightweight, hardware-accelerated platform for enterprise business applications. JavaFX is automatically included with the standard JDK and JRE bundles, so your computer is already set up to go. Along the way, you'll be challenged with writing programs that include all of the features we'll be discussing and my personal solution. My name is Peggy Fisher, and in this course we are going to do some hands-on practice with Java GUI development. Now let's get designing some GUIs with JavaFX.
