- Trimming on the edit page is more complicated than the cut page. That's why the cut page is a good place to start learning editing. Now here on the edit page, it's much easier to do things like leave one-frame gaps, throw off audio sync on a shot, but you can also do more complicated trims and be much more intentional about your work. For instance, up here on track two, I got this quick reaction, right? And what I want to do is maybe get to it a little bit sooner because the whole thing feels a little rushed, and I'm thinking maybe if I make this shot longer, then it won't feel quite as rushed. So, I can of course click and drag and just make this shot longer, kind of like that. Let's hit play. That's not bad we get his reaction, the other thing I can do is instead of click and dragging, let's say maybe on the beat I needed that shot to hit, so right there is where my beat is.
