Copying and pasting corrections

- Most of us aren't just color correcting one image at a time. Most of us are color correcting multiple images at a time, that then have to look like it's one continuous story. We can't have the images popping around in all sorts of different ways with the wide shot looking different than the close-up. So what happens is once we get the close-up, matching the wide shot, well, how do we get the rest of the close-ups to look like that close-up, and the rest of the wides to inherit the grades, the color grades, of the wide that we're happy with? That's what we're going to talk about very quickly here in this movie copying grades and pasting grades from shot to shot. We've already looked at the easiest way, which is if come to shot number eight here, and if I middle-click on shot number seven which we did this crazy grade on in the previous movie, middle-click on that and it just copies that grade across.
