- [Instructor] I'm using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Power BI Desktop, and even Microsoft PowerPoint and Word for this course. If you want to follow along with the exercise files I've provided, you're going to need those. But one of the questions I get all the time from non-PC users is how do I follow along when I don't have the same software? The good news is that even with different software, you can apply the concepts of this course to any spreadsheet, database, visualization, or presentation tool of your choice. So even if you can't use my exact files, each software application typically will have available sample datasets that you can read into your software of choice. You will find sample datasets on the internet or check out other courses here in the library. But the concepts are what I call tools agnostic. It doesn't matter what you're using.
