Creating single-line text (TEXT) and multiline text (MTEXT) in AutoCAD
- [Instructor] We're staying in our Annotation.dwg file, and we're staying zoomed into the new conference room where we were previously. In the previous video, we talked about setting up some text styles. We're now going to utilize those text styles to make sure that obviously we've got the right size text using the right type of text in our AutoCAD drawing. Now, I did ask you to check that you are in the model tab. You should be already, there's model down there, and we need to make sure that we're using the right layer in the layers panel on the home tab on the ribbon. Make sure you are using this red DIM layer here. So if you need to find it, you click on the fly-out, scroll up and down the list. It's right up near the top there. There we go, that one there, the DIM layer, A-010-D-DIM, we'll just use that for now. Obviously you might have a different layer that refers to text as compared to a different layer that refers to dimension annotation. It's up to you on that one, but just…
