Shape layers not only save the hassle of importing Illustrator files just so you can have vector shapes, they also have a number of hidden animation superpowers which I'll introduce here. The concept now is to continue the moon theme with more ellipses throughout this piece. So I'm going to continue with a second ellipse that picks up where this one left off. And for that, I will again select the Ellipse tool. And I want the apex of this circle, the top of it, to be right in the middle of that one. So I'll just start over here, hold down the Shift key to constrain it, and something like that. I don't want it to be a solid color. I could just go down here to Shape Properties and switch that to None, and I'm good. And I can also decide what weight I want the stroke to be. The default would have been like 2. I think something like 5 looks about right. I want the layer to appear right where I am. right now, right where the other one leaves off, actually, just a couple of frames forward…
