Block in motion with hold keyframes
This section of the course is designed to build from foundations. We looked at a lot of visual effects. Now, let's look at pure graphics using only shape layers and keyframes. To kick off this section, I've made just a few edits. I added crossfades in between the shots, those opacity keyframes that you see on the red and yellow layers. I added that red and yellow and green color to those layers, and I locked them so that we don't inadvertently move them as we create motion graphics above them. So the locks can be toggled on and off. The color can be set just by clicking on the swatch. I can change this one to cyan for example. Now I'm going to add a graphic and it can just sit on top. To blend it, instead of using a blend mode, I'm going to search on unmult which is an animation preset and when I apply that by soloing the layer I can show that it now has transparency. Let's set it to be a lot smaller to sit up here by this cloud. I'd like the opacity to be 50% so that it looks more…
