- [Instructor] Let's talk about user flows in design thinking. Have you ever wondered how websites and applications guide you effortlessly through tasks such as signing up, making a purchase, or booking a ticket? That's where user flows come in. A user flow is a visual representation of the steps a user takes to complete a task within a product. In design thinking, user flows help us visualize and empathize with the user's experience, which is central to this human-centered approach. By understanding user interactions, we can identify user's pain points, adjust user journey, and improve the overall product before launch. I usually work with user flows at the beginning of the prototyping stage in design thinking to map out how users will navigate through my first prototype. My advice is also to create user flows once you have the initial draft of your go-to-market strategy.
