AI risk treatment: Clause 6.1.3
- [Narrator] If you are a safe driver and you assess the many risks related to driving, you will likely have a treatment plan that involves responses to risk, as stated in ISO 27005. These include avoidance, share, formally transfer, modify, formally mitigate, and retaining, formally accept. Avoid means you avoid driving, or in a specific area, like ice on the road. Sharing means you share the weight of the consequences of a harmful event like the cost of repairing cars with an insurer in an accident. Modification means you implement controls like wearing a seatbelt. Retain means you don't add any additional controls and take on the risk of driving as is. Clause 6.1.3 is AI risk treatment. Risk treatment plans related to AI could mean that the organization could decide that a specific business stream and corresponding activities contain risks that exceed the organizational appetite.
