- [Instructor] An organization without policy is like a ship without a rudder. It can move quickly, but it is unlikely that you can predict where it is headed. An organization policy is designed to guide the activities of its members in a way a rudder guides the direction of a ship. AI will not necessarily correct disorganized behavior in your organization. AI is an accelerator, so if you have lousy software development practices, for instance, AI will make you faster at delivering lousy products. Sub-Clause 5.2 is AI Policy. Recall that the main clause of AI policy is leadership. Therefore, it should be no surprise that top management is designated as responsible for establishing AI policy. We're going to find that there are four requirements that describe a policy's nature or characteristics, and four requirements related to the activities and actions.
