This course was recommended by my professor, but it was nothing like the actual ISC2 CC test. Around 60% of the real exam wasn’t covered. The test focused heavily on networking, especially OSI layers 3 & 4, IPv4 vs IPv6, and domain types (A, B, C, D). Questions asked what type of traffic or attack occurs at specific layers—not just definitions. Topics like FaaS, DaaS, SECaaS, CASB, VPC, Smurfing, and benign vs malicious threats (e.g., Trojan horse as "benign") were completely missing. The exam required real understanding, not surface-level slides. Mike Chappell’s course barely scratched the surface. -
