- Okay, since everything's hooked up, we'll go ahead and give it power. You'll notice a little green light will start blinking, and then your desktop should come up with a nice rainbow color, and then run a bunch of configuration settings the first time, and then you're presented with the welcome screen. So let's go ahead and take a look at that. So the first time you boot it up, it will say welcome to your Pi Desktop, and we'll go ahead and hit next. We'll pick where we're located, everything looks okay. And this is basically running a bunch of configuration code based on your geographic location. We haven't even connected to the internet yet. All right, now that that's done, we definitely have to enter a new password for it because the default is PI user, and the default password is raspberry, so we need to change that. So let's go ahead and I'll just pick an easy one for now. And now it's just going to look for some…
