- So what's next? And that's a great question. And because this is built on the Raspberry Pi which is a single-board computer, really you can do anything. One thing I like to think about is extending this to do more in my home. You know, what if you could read a subject line and depending on what the subject line says, react on it. So maybe you need a little more power. You could use the DC motor to actually turn a lever, turn on sprinklers or some other device in your home. That would be pretty trivial to hook up. I have a sound effects board. This would actually play noises based on an email that it receives. You might be able to play a message to someone in your home, that says, you know, I'll be home in five minutes and now on a speaker at home it says I'll be home in five minutes. Kind of interesting.
