- Now we had software running on the Raspberry Pi that connected our LED. Let's go ahead and see how we can have hardware talk to the Raspberry Pi, versus Raspberry Pi talk to hardware. So let's go ahead and take this circuit apart. But we'll go ahead and reuse these pins. Now, before I build this, and you've heard me say it before. This is not about the nuances of programming and hardware in Raspberry Pi. This is more about building an internet of things when you have no previous experience. Okay, so I'm going to go ahead and insert this button in the breadboard across the gutter here. And I'm going to use the same wires that I used for the LED. Connect one to this top leg. All the rows are connected there. And then the ground can go to the other leg.
