- Now let's talk about how I designed this case. This is not going to be a how to use Illustrator or Inkscape or the very specifics of how I designed it, but a little bit of an overview on my thought process, how I start, why I designed it the way I did, and how I did it in Adobe Illustrator. That being said, you don't need Adobe Illustrator. You can use something like Inkscape or any vector drawing program. So let's get started. So the first thing I do is I start with a model of whatever Raspberry Pi we're working with. So in my case, it's the Pi Zero. You can go over to raspberrypi.org, click on hardware, and then once you're over on hardware, we can, say, let's do documentation, and then click on hardware. And then we can look at Raspberry Pi and then we can scroll down here and look for, there it is, mechanical drawings. And we're talking about the Raspberry Pi Zero, which is right here.
