A screenshot is exactly what it sounds like. It's an image capturing whatever is on your screen at the moment, so you can share it with others or keep it in case you need to refer back to it later. In addition to taking screenshots, you can also immediately mark up the screenshot in case you need to crop it down or highlight areas of it before sending it to someone or using it in a document. Now, on devices with a Home button, you'll press the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button simultaneously to take a screenshot. On the iPhone 10 and later, press the Side button and the Volume Up button simultaneously. Now, as we get a little thumbnail of the screenshot that appears on screen for about five seconds, and if you don't want to do anything with the screenshot, you can just ignore the thumbnail and let it disappear and the screenshot will be saved to the Photos app. But if you want to mark it up, I'll just take another screenshot here.
