- [Instructor] Now let's take a look at working with text and the onscreen keyboard in iOS. I'm going to use the Notes app for this example. And I'll create a new note by tapping the button here in the lower right hand corner. And I'll start typing a note of things to do today. And I'll tap return a couple times. And below that I'm going to type the phrase, in no particular order. Notice as you type, the iPhone offer suggestions here above the keyboard. This is called predictive text. I've typed enough of the word particular, that the iPhone is guessing what I mean to type here. If one of the suggestions you see here is correct, you can just tap it and the word is completed for you. If that wasn't the word I wanted, I could have just continued typing and ignored the suggestion. Now, you also probably noticed that iOS is also trying to guess not only the word I'm in the middle of typing, but what word I'm about to type. So…
