What is natural language processing (NLP)?
- [Narrator] In our data-driven world, language is the core of how we interact. Searching the web, reviewing products or services, crafting emails, sharing social media posts, texting, writing contracts, creating presentations, creating and maintaining medical records. All of this is data and language is the core. So, what is natural language processing? It is a field of artificial intelligence, or AI, focused on enabling computers to translate, interpret, summarize, and analyze human language in a meaningful way. In essence, natural language processing, or NLP, allows computers to make sense of language and tone, helping companies and applications respond better to human needs and interactions.
