- [Instructor] Not everyone is going to use Entra ID as their only authentication and identification type of method. And so that means that you probably have Active Directory on premises on a Windows server. I'm in a Windows 2022 server, and I'm in Server Manager. And as you can see here, I am running Active Directory on-premises, and Microsoft makes available a synchronization tool for a hybrid configuration such as this. What it's going to do is it's going to allow me to synchronize all of my users from my on-premises Active Directory into my Azure Active Directory, now called Entra ID. I've switched over to my web browser and I'm in a couple of different sites. The first one is the Microsoft Entra Connect site, and I got there by going to entra.microsoft.com. Entra Connect is the tool that's used to synchronize on-premises Active Directory into Azure Entra ID. But I'll need to download and install this product.
