- [Instructor] We're no longer operating under what used to feel like a Wild West when it comes to AI regulation, especially as the FTC has begun investigations into enterprise AI developers, and New York City has implemented a new law requiring third-party audits with financial consequences. Organizations should prepare for AI regulation to come quickly, even if they aren't in regulated industries. Over the next few years, it'll be surprising if we don't see AI regulation passed at the federal level. So far, many of the proposed regulations have been geared towards algorithmic transparency, and respecting human rights. A major theme in upcoming regulation is the disclosure of how companies use AI as well as a push towards disclosing where their training data comes from, and who owns it.
