What you should know

In this course on AI native vector databases, we'll be using the Python programming language, and Weaviate, an open source vector database. We'll also leverage tools like Jupyter Notebooks as our main development environment, GitHub to access these challenge and solution code notebooks. Pip to install and manage required packages. Docker to create containers in which our vector database will run. We'll also need API keys from third parties like OpenAI. For detailed instructions on how to set up your computer, please refer to the Readme file in the course's GitHub repo. You can also use the notebook and Q&A features on this learning platform throughout the course. Next, we'll talk about what makes vector databases so special.
