- [Instructor] In this lesson, I'm going to review some of the SD-WAN Monitoring Capabilities. So to start with, we're going to talk about syslog. We have the capability of doing syslog directly from the Edge devices. And so where that configuration is going to lie is going to be in the logging feature template. So if we go to our vManage and we go to Configuration and Templates, and then to our Feature Templates, and we have our set up as CS_logging, but you can see it's a Cisco logging template. And you could see what various options we have available. So realistically, do we want to do logging to the disk? What is the file size and how do we want to rotate that? If we want to send logs off of the box, do we want to encrypt them? If we do, then we'll want to go through the process of building out a TLS profile.
